Career Coaching

According to the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) who draws data from the U.S. Department of Education, there are about 111,000 school counselors serving 50.59 million students. That means, the average high school student receives only 38 minutes of career development counseling over 4 years. The average student-to-school counselor rate in US public schools is over 455 students for every one (1) counselor. Numerous good academic students don’t decide to attend college or think they can attend until their senior year of high school thus not having a Career Plan to get there.

We partner with high school counselors, students and parents to provide virtual and/or in-person career coaching and aid in their journey to navigate the complex road of developing a pathway to college and a successful future. We provide guidance and helpful tools along the way.

Our program aids families in various career development topics, college tours and connect them with numerous volunteer opportunities. We strive to provide job shadowing and/or internships. The program aids students in understanding career terminology, guide them in completing numerous documents required to ensure students are prepared for scholarships and transition to college without accumulation of excessive debt.
